It would be even better if you had True LCARS Colors, Some of the Metal Color Outlines really Don't look right, But other than that it looks great.

Very nice. It would be even better if there were an option to mute audio when the video is -- currently, audio continues after the monitor is powered down (put into standby).

As brilliant as it is, I won't be using it much anyway, though, as I have a Borg themed pc -- not the best match for Federation LCARS. :)
I'd love to see a Borg interface screensaver done by meWho! There's enough canon material shown in the TV episodes and movie(s) from which to build a reasonable facsimile.
Currently, I use the old Berkeley Afterdark Borg screensaver.
Btw, yes, I DO actually need to use a screensaver, since I'm still using an NEC FP2141SB monitor and hope it'll last at least until an OLED alternative is affordable.
I hope meWho will consider building an equally brilliant Borg screensaver of some kind.

^ That link provides away to fix permissions and allow it to work like normal- without Micromedia but flash.Download the newer version on the system 47 site in the downloads section.( this site)

Its a well known bug.. Ive rebooted multiple times and that does fix it. It has something to do with permissions. Just follow the directions.. Only use Flash player not micro-media flash.

Follow the directions on the link, the install folder on the C drive is hidden, so "un-hide it". but remove system 47 from your PC and reboot before doing anything.

When you apply the adobe fix using "run as administrator" using right click, than install the new system 47 screen savor you re-downloaded from this site its version 2.2.It should create a new Theme on your Windows 7. Remove the old one and test the newer version. it should work. ive installed in on two computers applying that fix.

This is my fav screensaver of all time! Unfortunately, I too am dealing with this annoying "cannot find macromedia flash" message whenever the screensaver should activate. This began occurring, perhaps 2 months ago? It was after the last time Flash was updated. If anyone found a solution, I'd love to know. Some ppl stated downgrading flash, others said "download the update", but they werent specific as to an update of Flash or an update of the screensaver module, and the site here doesnt say there is an updated module, so I am a bit confused. On Adobe's support forums, there was mention of this error by other users also.

Love the screensaver! Works well on my Dual Screen Setup. Only issues I have is when the screensaver exits, some times my Task bar vanishes too, except for the "Start" Button. Any ideas on how to fix that?

I got the same error others have been reporting. 'Could not find the Macromedia Flash'. It would be helpful if we knew what program this error was coming from - it took me a while to track it down to your screensaver. Consider adding 'System 47 Screen Saver' to the error dialog. Downloading and installing the latest version fixed the error for me. (And just FYI, Flash is now Adobe and not Macromedia.)

It's been a long time since I've checked back in, and it seems that the fan base for this great piece of software is growing! Unfortunately, most of my time is being taken up by school and, since I am in no way a professional, I don't have the time to fix the minor bugs provided by my fan update. However, I'm sure that some of the THOUSANDS of hits that this website is receiving are by people who have the resources and experience to easily fix those minor bugs.

PLEASE, if you have experience in working with flash, or have developed desktop software before, please contact me.

For anyone unaware, please read through my previous posts to this guestbook; all of which are compiled in the link below.

I just installed an update of Macromedia flash, and I received the message "Could not find Macromedia flash".
I looked for Flash*.ocx and found file Flash32_11_2_202_228.ocx (8,778,400 bytes) in directory C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash. Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V and renamed the new file "Copy of Flash32_11_2_202_228.ocx" to flash.ocx.
